OUR STORY
One hundred years after Henry Ford was born, a group of young South Australian men, led by 19-year-old Allen White, decided to try and form a Club devoted to Henry Ford’s now famous Model 'T'.
Conditional registration of historic, prescribed left hand drive, or street rod vehicles is only available to financial members of a recognised motor vehicle club, such as the Model 'T' Club of Australia Inc.
Members of our club are able to obtain application forms from any of the club’s Authorised Persons.
Once your car is registered, an Authorised Person can issue a Log Book. The Log Book must be endorsed each financial year and enables travel for a total of 90 days for that year for any purpose other than for fare, hire, or reward. Each day your vehicle is to be driven, a Log Book entry must be made prior to departure.

Since September 2020, I have been extremely proud to serve as Club Patron #4 in the history of our great Club. It is an absolute honour to work with such a pleasant group of volunteers.
My aim as Patron is to share in the fun, laughter, and friendship, as these are important pillars for maintaining one’s wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle. I appreciate the values, history, and the many social connections of our Club. It is also a bonus that our many activities are based in the attractive leased building on Port Road Plantation Reserve, Croydon. It is simply a fantastic location, managed by the progressive City of Charles Sturt.
I enthusiastically look forward to being involved with the Club’s members, with all their abilities and talents being applied to help our Club grow, thrive, and prosper.
