2012 Kangaroo Island Adventure

All bookings for the 2012 Kangaroo Island Adventure are now closed and no more participants will be accepted

Just a reminder for those who have booked their ferry trip to K.I. and their accommodation and haven't paid the required amounts of deposit or full payment they are now almost due.

All rooms at the Acacia Apartments are now booked.

If you haven't booked your passage on the Sealink it is strongly suggested you do so now to avoid disappointment. The ferry fills rapidly and you may have difficulty getting on at the last minute. 

Please start making your accommodation bookings with the beautiful Acacia Apartments on 1800 247 007 A.S.A.P. There are only 10 apartments and already 8 are gone! If you don't want to miss out ring ASAP. Once these rooms are taken Adam will find alternative accommodation near by for remaining people. (Accommodation information and pricing is available  in the expression of interest form or on the sub menue under this heading)

Boat Prices

$78 per person return plus $184 return for a car. Total boat fare for 2 people + car would be $340. Please let Sealink know when booking if you have an Australian Concession card as this will further reduce you fares.

All boat bookings are to be made through Adam Jones as he has managed to once again get a great deal for us. Please let Adam know A.S.A.P. if you are going so he can book passage to K.I. on the Sea Link. Adam is aiming for a 10:00am boat crossing but may have to also book some cars on the 09:00am boat depending upon car numbers and availability.

Cape Jervis Accommodation  

Some of us will be coming from interstate or driving our old cars down from Adelaide the day before, Sunday 22nd April 2012. Last time we stayed at the Cape Jervis Holiday Units where our hosts, Kym and Robyn, were very accommodating.

For the 2012 K.I. Adventure they have once again offered to store people's car and trailers when they take their old cars to the Island. We have booked the 5 Units.  If all are taken for the 22nd April 2012 they will give us a special discount of $120 per cabin for 2 people, extra people in cabin at extra cost.

Sorry, all the Cape Jervis Holiday Units are now booked out! 

When ringing to book your unit mention that you are with the Model T ford Club or you will be told the units are booked. Thanks Kym and Robyn.

The holiday units are across the road from the Cape Jervis Hotel which is very handy for dinner and the odd drink or 2 of lemonade! :)

If you are intending on coming to Cape Jervis on the 22nd of April and missed out on the Cape Jervis Holiday Units, alternate accommodation of various types is available at the Cape Jervis Station & Cottages, phone 08 8598 0288 .  You can still leave cars and trailers at the Cape Jervis Holiday Units even if you are not staying there.

So come along and join the fun whether it be in a Veteran, Vintage, Classic or Modern Car.

If you are interested please fill in the expression of interest form (download here) no later than 31st January 2012 and either email or post it to Adam Jones at the address below. If there are any rooms not booked at the Acacia Apartments by the 31st January 2012 Adam will hand these rooms back to the owner so they can be rented to other people if required. So, if you're interested in coming make your booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
